If you love French toast, then you probably know that you can make this French toast sandwich in less than 20 minutes.
But what if you want to make it in less time too?
To make the French toast at home, all you need is some basic ingredients and a couple of ingredients you can easily get at your local supermarket.
To make it a little easier, we’ve compiled the best recipes for breakfast and lunch in French.
To begin, you’ll need: 3 eggs, 1 cup of milk, 2 tbsp of butter, 2 tablespoons of sugar, salt and pepper, a small pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper, all the ingredients for the sandwich (eggs, milk, butter, sugar, and pepper) The sandwich will then take about 2 hours to make.
The sandwiches are so simple that you may not even know you’re eating them!
So don’t worry if you’re not used to the idea of making French toast in the morning – this recipe can easily be adapted to suit your own preferences.

1 tablespoon of butter in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk or electric hand whisk.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, egg yolks, salt (if using) and pepper.
In another medium bowl (the one that’s fitted with the whisk attachment), combine the bread flour and the egg yOLK with a pinch or two of salt.
Mix until the dough comes together.
Add the butter and egg ylks and mix until just combined.
Knead the dough until the crumbs are just moist and smooth.
Fold in the melted butter and the brie.
Gently fold in the bries, adding the salt to taste.
Roll the dough into a large rectangle about the size of a large apple pie (1/2 inch thick).
Place a baking tray over the top, making sure to make sure the pastry is as level as possible.
Sprinkle the crust with the breadcrumbs, using the backs of your hands to help spread the crumb mixture.
Brush the sandwich with a little more breadcrumb mixture if necessary.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
The buns should still be a little firm and springy.
Remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack to cool completely.
Notes: The bakers instructions did not specify which size you’d like your French toast to be.
So we went with a 1/32th inch size for the bottom bun and a 3/4 inch size at the top.
